Brewing started in March 1994 using a 2BBL plant which was situated in an old wash house behind Bentley Brook Inn, Fenny Bentley, Ashbourne. During Autumn 2007, the brewery was closed in preparation for it moving and brewing was taking place at Falstaff. In Spring 2008 the brewery reopened located at The Green Man and Blacks Head Royal Hotel, 10 St John Street, Ashbourne. In March 2011 the brewery moved out of this site and is currently brewing at Tap House.
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. A crowd-sourced beer list is also available on the Untappd page for this brewery. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
