|Pub With Brewery Attached|
|Address||Jolly Roger Brewery|
The Faithful City Brewery
31-33 Friar Street
This brewery was initially started behind the Old Anchor Inn, Upton-upon-Severn in 1983. In 1985 the pub was sold, but continued brewing as the Old Anchor Brewery, and a new brewery was set up in Lowesmoor, Worcester. In 1990 a sister brewpub was set up in Hereford under the name The Original Hereford Brewing Company. In 1992 the brewery expanded and moved to the above address, however in 1993 problems resulted in the scaling back of operations and the selling of the Hereford operation. In Summer 1995, a new Jolly Roger brewpub was opened up in Nuneaton, however the receivers were called in during the early months of 1996 and all the pubs were sold.
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
