History

After buying the pub from Brent Walker in 1991, the owners immediately installed a brewery in outbuildings behind the pub. The eight barrel brewplant was built from stainless steel milk equipment.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Green Dragon Free House & Brewery on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.

Regular Outlets

The main outlet for these beers is the Green Dragon itself.

Directions

The nearest railway station is approximately 5 miles away (Beccles). The number 58 bus from Norwich stops near the pub in Bungay.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
