History
Brewing started in November 2009 as Shotover Brewing Company Ltd. An 8BBL plant supplied by PBC Brewery Installations Ltd is used. For a short period from about 2018, the name Oxford Craft Beer Co was used for one-off beers. In April 2021 they re-branded to Oxford Brewery.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
