History

A series of microbreweries situated in Hollywood Bowl bowling alleys. The first opened at Original Brewing Company (Leicester) in June 1995. In 1996 outlets were opened at Original Brewing Company (Watford), Original Brewing Company (Finchley) and Original Brewing Company (Stevenage). 1997 saw expansion into Original Brewing Company (Bracknell), Original Brewing Company (Cardiff) and Original Brewing Company (Glasgow). The final openings were in 1998 at Original Brewing Company (Horwich), Original Brewing Company (Basildon), Original Brewing Company (Leeds), Original Brewing Company (Surrey Quays), Original Brewing Company (Birmingham) and finally at Original Brewing Company (Sheffield). All locations had a 5BBL plant was used at most of the breweries and a standard range of bitters and lagers were brewed which at many places were nitrogenated. All had ceased brewing by the latter half of 2000.
