History
Brewery originally opened in November 1998 but not in serious production until the summer of 1999. The brewery is situated in an old bottle store and originally had a 3/4 barrel brewlength. This was expanded during 2000 to 2 barrel and was replaced by a 4 barrel setup at the end of 2006. The 2 barrel plant was sold to Wonky Dog Brewery.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for The Famous Railway Tavern Brewing Co on the independent www.beermad.org.uk.
Regular Outlets
The Railway Tavern is the only regular outlet for the beers.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
