History
Started in the autumn of 1995 in an old Co-op grocery store. The brewery is so called because outside the pub is the head of the River Colne. Taken over by Ossett Brewery in December 2006, however it will continue brewing under it's own name.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Riverhead Brewery Ltd on the independent www.beermad.org.uk.
Regular Outlets
The main outlet is Riverhead Brewery Tap, 2 Peel Street, Marsden. The beers will also appear as guest beers in Ossett pubs.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
