History

Brewing commenced in October 1992, the owner previously owned Franklins Brewery. They were initially based at 20 Claro Business Centre, Claro Road, Harrogate, moving to Unit 3 Grimbald Park, Wetherby Road, Knaresborough, HG5 8LJ during October/November 2001. The brewery has been expanded many times over the years and had a capacity of 24BBL. The brewery produced a large number of beers with new varieties of hops, these were originally marketed under the names Pioneer Brewing Company and Outlaw Brewery. The brewery was taken over in 2017 and relocated to their current location towards the end of 2019.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. A crowd-sourced beer list is also available on the Untappd page for this brewery. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
