|Beers Not Brewed By Original Company Following A Takeover|
|Address||Ruddles Brewery Ltd|
Brewery initially established in 1858, which was taken over by Grand Metropolitan in 1986. The brewery was purchased by the Dutch brewery Grolsch in 1992. In 1997 Morland Brewery of Abingdon brought the brewery, closed the Langham site and transferred production to its own site. Following Morland's takeover by Greene King in 2000, production was transferred to Bury St Edmunds.
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
