History
Initially based at the Melvich Hotel, ~Melvich near Thurso, this isolated hotel started brewing in the spring of 1998 on a 1 barrel brewplant. A new 2 barrel brewplant was acquired from the Evening Star location of Dark Star in the early part of 2002. Brewing was suspended during the summer of 2007 following the sale of the hotel, but has since restarted at it's current location.
