Started brewing in 1996 based inside a leisure complex. A 10BBL plant was used. Sold to the free trade under the name Brooklands Brewery. The brewery closed in 2000 with the plant being sold to Oakleaf Brewing Company Limited.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
