History
The brewery started in November 1993 by a former owner of the Reindeer. The brewery has a 15 barrel brew length.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Chalk Hill Brewery on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.
Regular Outlets
Chalk Hill owns 2 pubs and supplies about 25 locally. The Coach and Horses and The Alexandra, Stafford St, Norwich are your best bet.
Directions
From Norwich railway station turn 180o back on your self at the main station entrance and head up the hill. The Coach and Horses is about 200 yards up the hill on the left hand side just past the postal sorting buildings. The brewery is situated behind the pub and can be reached through it. If the pub is closed (you've picked a bad time to visit!) carry on for about 50 yards and turn left into Rosary Road.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
