History
Started brewing in April 1996, the beers being given a kitchen theme due to the fact that the brewer had previous experience as a Chef. The brewplant had a capacity of 10 barrels. Many beers were brewed with fruit, vegetable, herbs or spices added during the brew. The brewery also produced more conventional beers under the name of The Huddersfield Brewing Company. The brewery went into receivership during March 2001. The brewplant was used as the basis of Owl Brewery.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
