History
Started brewing in August 1998 although test beers had been brewed by Restalrig Village Brewery Ltd for at least a year before that. The 9BBL plant is based in what is believed to be an old explosive store for a local quarry. Reported that brewing was suspended towards the end of 2002 because of health problems. Brewing restarted during Spring 2003 following an approximate 5-month gap. Brewing was suspended due to ill-health at the end of 2022.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
