History
Started brewing in July 1982. A 10BBL plant was used. A new brewhouse with expanded 25BBL plant was opened in 1997. The brewery was taken over by Wickwar in 2017 and production was transferred there where it became their cider brand.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
