History

This brewery was established at the beginning of February 1999 using the name Sunset, Cider & Wine. The 2 barrel plant used to be used by Blackmoor Brewery. The name changed during 2002. The brewery ceased brewing during the second half of 2002 for several months to allow for a significant refit and reopened during the spring of 2003. However brewing ceased almost immediately and although the brewplant is still present it seems unlikely that it will be used again.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for The Egyptian Sand & Gravel Co Ltd on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
