Blue Moon Brewery

History

This brewery first started production in January 1997 based in a manger at Pearces Farm in Hingham. The main brewing vessel were previously used in the kitchens of Norwich prison and provided a brewlength of about 3 barrels. Production was transferred to Buffy's in early 1999. Following the purchase of the Cock Tavern in Barford in 2000 a new plant was installed in a barn at the rear of the pub and brewing started here towards the end of 2001.
