History
This brewery started in February 1997 by brewers from Wortley Inn using the same plant in the buildings previously used by Wild's. Closed early 1999 with the plant sold to Saddleworth Brewery.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
