History
Launched at Bury St Edmunds Beer Festival 1999. Initially based at Thurston Granary, Station Hill, Thurston. At plan to expand the brewery into a local barn fell through during 2002. This left the brewery with no location to brew, so it used spare capacity at plants such as Buffys or Nethergate. A new location was found at the above address during the second half of 2003 however brewing didn't start there until about a year later.

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Bartrams Brewery on the independent www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
