History
Brewing commenced in 1999 using a 2½ barrel brewplant situated in what was the pool room. Brewing is always infrequent. Following a decision to sell the pub the brewery was removed during the summer of 2003 and moved to one of the owners home and restarted under the name Redburn Brewery.

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Black Bull (Haltwhistle) Brewery on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
