Exmoor Ales Ltd

History

This brewery opened in June 1980 is the old Hancock brewery buildings in Wiveliscombe that closed in 1959. Initially the name Golden Hill brewery was used but as the beers were all started with Exmoor and by 1988 the name had changed to Exmoor Ales. Over the years there has been a steady expansion in the brewery to match the success of the beers.
