History

Brewing commenced in December 1997. A 2½BBL plant was used based behind the Bull pub on Bridge Street, Fakenham. During 2001, the plant was moved to a new location within the pub complex. A further move took place in Autumn 2002 to the Orchard Workshops in Colkirk. The brewery was sold towards the end of 2003 and relocated to Fleet Hall Road, Rochford in Essex and in 2006 moved once more to share premises with Star. Following the closure of Star in Summer 2007, the brewery was taken over by Wibblers.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all areas possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the counties for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
