History
Short-lived brewpub which first brewed in April 1996. A 2½BBL plant was used. Soon after opening, the owners took over Viking Ales Ltd and by the end of the year brewing had ceased at the Stag & Griffin.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
