|Brewery Whose Production Is Predominantly Small Format|
|Address||Whitworth Hall Brewery|
This brewery opened in Summer 1992 to supply the tearoom of Whitworth Hall with bottle conditioned beer. Most of the beer produced was in bottle conditioned form, with only a very small proportion being in cask form. The brewery closed when the hall was sold in 1996 and the plant became the basis of the Mighty Oak.
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
