History
Based in the old Bourne Brewery site, which closed in the 1930s this company started brewing in the summer of 1994. The 120 barrel brewplant was as the name suggests powered by two steam generators. Brewing however ceased less than 18 months after it had started.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Lincolnshire Steam Beer Co on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
