History

As part of a museum at the ancestral home of the Earl of Lichfield a 2½ barrel log fired brewery was installed in 1990. A single brew was made but the brewery then remained unused until September 1996 when Titanic started brewing some beers on the plant. The beers brewed here are one mainly offs and third parties have often use the plant to produce pub house beers.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Shugborough Brewery on the independent www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
