Brewery opened in the beer garden in November 2000. The 1BBL plant used was previously at Foxfield and uses vessels that were formerly used to make mascara. The brewery closed when the pub was sold at the end of 2006. The site was reused for Little Ale Cart Brewing Company.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
