W M Darley Ltd

History

Brewery founded in 1837. It was taken over by Vaux in 1978. Brewing ceased at this site in September 1986, with production of the Thorne and Darley brands being transferred to Ward's. The brands finally disappeared when Wards shut in June 1999.
