History
First brewed in June 1996 as the Quay Brewery based at Brewers Quay, Hope Square, Weymouth. The brewery was located in the former Devenish and Groves brewery that closed in November 1985. A 5BBL plant was used. During the early part of 2004 the name of the company changed to the current version. The brewery moved at the end of 2010 to the current address, brewing was for a short period taking place at Abbey Ales and Bath Ales awaiting the delivery and commissioning of a new plant.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
