History
Started brewing in May 2002. The brewery initially only produced a single bottle-conditioned beer. Cask ale production started in April 2003. Cask production stopped in 2016, all beer is now brewed by The Untapped Brewing Company and bottled.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
