|Pub With Brewery Attached|
|Address||Funfair Brewing Company|
Newark and Sherwood
Started brewing March 2004 based at the Wheel Inn, Chapel Street, Holbrook, Derbyshire. A 2½BBL plant was used. Brewing was suspended following the sale of the pub and the plant was removed in December 2004. The brewery reopened, based at 34 Spinney Road, Ilkeston, DE7 4LH, during March 2005. The brewery relocated again to Canal Street, Ilkeston, DE7 8GR in September 2006. The plant has since been expanded to 5BBL with the original plant being sold to Marlpool. The brewery moved once more in the second half of 2012 to its current location. Regular brewing ceased in 2019, however occasional beers may appear with the help of Thorley's Craft Beer.
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. A crowd-sourced beer list is also available on the Untappd page for this brewery. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
