Derwent Brewery

History

Initially set up as the free trade brewery for the Bitter End brewpub in 1996, it was based in the Derwent Mill Trading Estate in Cockermouth. In 1997 the partners split and the brewery moved to their current address. A 5 barrel brewplant is used. Also brews beer under the name Carlisle State.
