A picture of The Dolphin Brewery Ltd

History

Opened Christmas 2000 using a 2¼ barrel plant. During the summer of 2001 this was upgraded to a 4½ barrel plant. Brewing was spasmodic. The pub and brewery were taken over in 2006 and brewing recommenced on a regular basis.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for The Dolphin Brewery Ltd on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.

Regular Outlets

The only outlet for the beers is The Dolphin Inn, Shrewsbury.

Directions

Leave the Railway Station by the main exit and turn right up the road that passes the entrance. The Dolphin Inn is about 5 minutes walk up this road on the left hand side.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
