History
Started brewing in 1975. The brewery was located in a converted paper mill. The brewery was reasonably successful leading to expansion of the brewing capability but shortly after the Christmas of 1981 ceased brewing.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
