History

Real ales were mainly sold under the Buchanan's brandname. Stopped brewing real ale in the Autumn of 1999, the cask beers are now brewed by Robinson's. The brewery was sold to Scottish & Newcastle in 2004 and is now known as Dunston Brewery.
