History
Originally started brewing in May 1994 using a 5BBL plant situated in an old bakery in Lockoford Lane, Chesterfield. In October 1998 the plant was moved to the brewery's first tied house, The Speedwell Inn, and brewing recommenced in November 1998.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
