History
Started up early July 2001, under the name Hobden's Wessex Brewery, with the first beer being Blackmore Ale 3.5%. The 3½ barrel brewplant was previously at Crewkerne. For a period at the beginning of 2002, brewed the former Ash Vine beers following the closure of Hertiage. The Hobden's was dropped from the name in late 2004. The above address is not the address of the brewery which is located at Rye Hill, Longbridge Deverill, Warminster.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
