History

Started brewing in May 1997, based at 19 Cheddars Lane, Cambridge. A 15BBL plant was used. Ceased brewing while moving during late Summer 2001, their beers being contract brewed by The Mighty Oak Brewing Company Ltd for this period. Restarted brewing at Ely Road, Chittering, Cambridge at the beginning of June 2002. A feature of their new plant is that the water is recycled using reed beds. Brewing ceased again in the second half of 2007 with brewing being contracted out to amongst others The Wolf Brewery and Oxfordshire Ales. By 2010 brewing was all taking place at Elgood & Sons Ltd. In Autumn 2011 the brewery was taken over by Wolf and all brewing takes place there.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. A crowd-sourced beer list is also available on the Untappd page for this brewery. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.
