History
Started brewing during May 1997, based at 19 Cheddars Lane, Cambridge. A 15 barrel brewplant was used. Ceased brewing while a move was carried out during the late summer of 2001, their beers being contract brewed by Mighty Oak for this period. Restarted brewing at their new address at the beginning of June 2002. A feature of their new plant is that the water is recycled using reed beds.Brewing ceased again in the second half of 2007 with brewing being contracted our to amongst others, Wolf and Oxfordshire Ales.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
