History
Brewery opened in summer 1998 using the brewplant from Marisco Tavern. The brewery was originally located at the Pig On The Hill pub in Pursehill. During 2001 the brewery capacity was doubled in size. During the late summer of 2002, the brewery moved to its current location. Some beers have been see bearing the name Big Sheep Brewery as the brewery is advertised on their website.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Country Life Brewery on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.
Regular Outlets
As well as the Pig on the Hill, the brewery delivers to approximately 10 other outlets.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
