History
Opening during the summer of 1996, this was the first American-style "Boutique Brewery" in the UK. The 10 barrel brewplant was sourced from Italy. All beer was not cask conditioned. A sister brewpub, known as Mash 2 was opened in London in 1998. Ceased brewing during the summer of 2000. The brewplant was sold to form the plant for The Grand Union Brewery.
Beers Brewed
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Mash & Air on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
