History
Opened in February 2002 using the 10BBL plant formerly at Mash & Air. This brewery was under the same ownership as Old Kent Brewery Company which has since closed. The brewery closed in January 2008 with the plant being sold to The Betwixt Beer Company Ltd.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
