History
Started brewing in April 1996 on a 5BBL plant located at Cantilever Lodge, Stoke Prior, Leominster. Brewing ceased in late 2001 and in early 2002 the brewery was taken over by Dunn Plowman. The plant was moved to a new location and Dunn Plowman continues to use the SP Sporting Ales brands.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
