History
Brewery opened in January 1998 based in a barn on Harby Lane, Stathern, Melton Mowbray, LE14 4HJ. The original 5BBL plant came from Wylye Valley Brewery. This was upgraded to a 10BBL plant, formerly at the Finch & Firkin, during August 2002, the 5BBL plant being sold to Dunn Plowman Brewery. Moved to their current location at the end of 2006.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
