History
Brewery opened in January 1998 based in a barn on Harby Lane, Stathern, Melton Mowbray, LE14 4HJ. The original 5 barrel brewplant came from Wylye Valley. This was upgraded to a 10 barrel plant, formerly at the Finch & Firkin, during August 2002, the 5 barrel plant being sold to Kinver Brewery. Moved to their current location at the end of 2006.

Visits are by prior arrangement and best in summer months. Includes unlimited beer plus local pie and cheeses from 7:30pm for a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 30, cost £8 per head.
Distribution Information
The brewery delivers directly within the East Midlands. Wholesalers used include Beer My Guest, Flying Firkin Distribution Ltd, Conways and AVS Wines & Beers. Brewery swaps are also carried out.
