History

This brewery, also producing ales under the brand Janners Ales, started production in August 1983. The 10 barrel brewplant was previously used at Swimbridge Brewery. The brewery was sold to new owners in 1994. Although steady expansion of the brewery took place, the brewery ceased trading in 1997.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Mill Brewery on the independant www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
