History

The site of Everards grade II listed Tiger Brewery which closed in 1983 was brought, to be restored as a brewing museum, by a trust in 1985. Heritage Brewery immediately started brewing smaller amounts of beer on site and were also contracted to brew some of Everards beer, particularly their mild. As a result of significant building work larger scale brewing stopped on site in 1992 with beer being contract brewed by Lloyds and Burton Bridge. Brewing ceased altogether in 1995. The site was later used as the base of Bevvied Bull.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all areas possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the counties for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
