History
Brewing started in May 1997 in the back room of Flanney's Brewery Tap, High Street, Aberystwyth. A 2½BBL plant was used. Purchased Bragdyr Dyffryn Clwyd in late 1998. Moved to their final location in Spring 1999. Taken over by the owners of Hereford Brewery brewery in early 2001 with the brewing of Flannery's branded beers being carried out at Spinning Dog. Use of the brand ceased soon after.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
