History
Originally The Original Hereford Brewing Company, a 4BBL plant was built behind this pub and opened in January 2000 as Spinning Dog Brewery. The brewery also brewed Flannery's Brewery Ltd beers following its closure. They changed their name to Hereford Brewery in July 2010.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries.
