History

The most northerly brewery in the UK started brewing in December 1997 based at Baltasound, Unst, Shetland, ZE2 9DX. The plant came from The Glaschu Brewery in Glasgow. During 2012 they moved further north to Haroldswick, Unst, Shetland, ZE2 9TJ. The brewery was taken over in 2018 and relocated to its current address. Brewing ceased in Summer 2019.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.
