History

Formed in 1984 from the defunct Royal Tunbridge Wells Brewery. Merged with Ashford Brewery in 1985, using the Ashford site for distribution only. Ceased brewing in 1986 when their site was demolished for housing. The plant was sold to Larkins Brewery.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website and we suggest you also visit the entry for Kentish Ales on the independent www.beermad.org.uk.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
