|Address||Red Rat Craft Brewery|
Bury St Edmunds
Started brewing in Summer 2007 following some test brewing at Bartrams. A 2½BBL plant formerly at Southport was used and located on an industrial estate on Grove Lane, Elmswell, Bury St. Edmund's. During Autumn 2009 they moved to their current address and expanded to a 10BBL plant. The brewery closed during the latter months of 2011, and the name was sold to Cropton Brewery. Brewing of their beers stopped in about 2014.
We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
